Author Jon Davies and storm chaser Shawna Helt are available to talk to your school about storm chasing, tornadoes and severe weather. Capture your students’ interest and imagination about science and weather! The presentation includes exciting video and photographs, as well as images from Jon Davies’ book “Storm Chasers! On The Trail of Twisters”, in Powerpoint format. Jon and Shawna will talk about how storm chasing is done, including spotting storms, and cutting edge information about tornadoes and storm safety. Speaker fees are negotiable, and can waived by doing an advance pre-order of the “Storm Chasers!” book through your school in collaboration with the author.
